Founding Head of Engineering

Qualifications:

• Experience building back-office automation workflows or fintech/lending infrastructure

• +8yr experience shipping complex systems using the following stack: Node.js, React, AWS, Docker, Postgres, TypeScript, Terraform/Serverless

• Strong UI/UX design and product management skills

• Leader that can coach and scale an engineering org, but still loves to be hands-on and code

• Ideally in SF, open to remote

Responsibilities:

• Architect and ship core products

• Mentor engineers while establishing the engineering culture

• Interact directly with customers when needed

• Partner with the founder and engineers to quickly churn product loops

• Work closely with the CEO and senior leadership on long-term goals

Compensation:

• $200k - $300k base + equity
